The Wedding Dance Summer Lake 8 edition by SJ McCoy Literature Fiction eBooks
WOw! Wow! Wow! SJ McCoy has really outdone herself with this book. I don't know about anyone else, but this book made me a complete and utter wreck by the time I got through this one. My emotions ran a whole gammit of ups and downs, that's for sure. I was so elated for most of these couples, but my heart couldn't help but bleed for Ben & Chance. I was also shocked about Megan and Michael backing out at the last minute. If anything, but mainly because I thought these two were the most stable couple out of all of them. I cried so many tears of both sadness, and tears of happiness, as well as everything else in between. I was so happy that Scot was able to come out of his shell long enough to make one of the best speeches I've ever heard in my life. That speech in itself; was the equivilment of 3 boxes of tissues.Missy however, is probably my favorite character of all. I love her brassiness. She might be smalll in statue, but she a real firecracker. She makes me laugh at her antic's. And the way she instantly jumps into the fray to make things right for everyone else around her, makes me smile every single time. She deserves all the happiness that comes her way, and more. I couldn't have paired her with a better man than Dan, if I tried.
This story takes us on the journey of the best day of Missy and Dan's lives, but it also fills in the blanks on what has been going on with everyone else in Summer Lake including; Emma and Jack, Pete and Holly, Michael and Megan, Kenzie and Chase, Gabe and Renee. We also get to know a few new characters, as well. People like: April and her son Marcus, Lily, and Charlotte (Who we've been told about in previous books, but never met, until now) and last but not least, we met the precarious womanizer, Nate. I can't wait to see what kind of woman it takes to rope him in. I'm also waiting with bated breath, to find out if Ben and Chance ever get to find their own HEA'S. I surely hope so, because there is no better me than these two, as far as I'm concerned.
You keep these books coming MJ McCoy, and I'll keep on reading. I hope we get a few more books in the Remmington series, too. ;)

The Wedding Dance Summer Lake 8 edition by SJ McCoy Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
This is my favorite SJ McCoy book! The characters are more well-developed, and there are multiple storylines occurring simultaneously. I think this would be the hardest of McCoy's books to read without having read her previous books first, as it is a continuation of some characters' stories (Holly and Pete), and the backstory for others (Ben and Charlotte). Finding out what had happened between Ben and Charlotte so long ago that had changed Ben so completely was very satisfying and unexpected. I even teared up at several points during this book! My suggestion read books 1-7 first, so you will get the full benefit of this book.
I just finished reading The Wedding Dance. I was never a fan of books that were part of a series but when I traveled to Summer Lake and met the gang in Emma and Jack's story, I knew it was a destination that I would revisit again and again. When you are an avid reader like myself, you become attached to characters and when the author doesn't invite you to see beyond their happily ever after, you find yourself inventing how you would like to see them. SJ, the Wedding Dance is a brilliant treat to your fans. You took me on a wonderful journey beyond the happily ever afters of each story. It was sweet, at moments broke my heart, and a great read. I look forward to reading Ben's story and while I wait, I will invent scenarios of what transpired at outside those double doors.
PS I don't like Megan anymore.
Once again S.J. McCoy does it again, she has written another phenomenal book. I really enjoyed this book and look forward to Ben's story of him and Charlotte, I think that will be hot as well. Loved Missy and Dan's wedding. they are such a cute couple. Had so much fun reading what led up to the wedding. Finding out Emily is pregnant was pretty awesome also. Hate that Megan and Michael did not get married, but understand her reasoning why, and was happy the way Michael was so understanding about it. Oh my goodness, not gonna tell much more, you really have to check it out but just know there are a couple more weddings in this book. You will enjoy it, all of S.J's books are great! Keep up the great work S.J.!!!!! Looking forward to Ben and Charlotte's story, hint, hint.
You are invited to Summer Lake's wedding of the century and thanks to SJ McCoy you have a front row seat. Dan and Missy are finally going to get married in Las Vegas and the whole gang is going. But there are a few bumps and surprises along the way.
This is a must read if you have been following the Summer Lake Saga. SJ McCoy not only grants you access to the best day of Missy and Dan's lives but also fills in the blanks on what has been going on with everyone else in Summer Lake; Emma and Jack, Pete and Holley, Michael and Megan, Kensie and Chase, Gabe and Renee. Also questions are answered about Chance and Ben.
As always SJ McCoy brings her characters alive and make you feel as if you are really apart of this glorious occasion. You will laugh and you will cry, because nothing is ever perfect. But through love and friendship even the hardest of situations can be overcome.
The wedding dance was a story i looked forward too since i read Summer lake book 3 and feel in love with Missy and Dan. They are by far my favorite Summer Lake couple, and i was thrilled to see a book about their wedding. The story had some nice twists and surprises, which i won't spoil but will say were not expected at all. There was everything a good story should have, tragedy, struggle, love, and of course a wedding or two. SJ McCoy is one of my favorite authors currently. She is a fantastic writer, who knows how to draw you into the worlds she writes about. She makes her characters loveable, relatable, and interesting. She knows how to write her men to be the kind you would fantasize about loving. Her Summer Lake and Remington Ranch stories are wonderful, and well worth reading.
